‘’Yasmine and I just arrived in Israel. We are very happy to be here and are dedicated to working toward the peaceful & prosperous future that the people of our region deserve. From the children of Cyrus, to the children of Israel, we will build this future together, in friendship,’’ tweeted Iran’s Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi who is making an history visit to Israel this week.
Pahlavi, the son of the Shah, the last non-Islamist ruler of Iran, arrived at Ben Gurion airport on Monday. He will attend Israel’s “Heroes and Martyrs Remembrance” ceremony Monday at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial.
