The newly appointed head of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council is wanted under an Interpol Red Notice in connection to his suspected involvement in the suicide bombing of the AMIA Jewish community center in Buenos Aires in 1994, which claimed the lives of 85 people and wounded more than 300 others, Israel’s Foreign Ministry tweeted on Monday.
“The Iranian regime worships terror, rewards its architects and promotes them to the highest levels of power,” the ministry added.

Mohsen Rezaei (pictured), a former Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander, will replace the current secretary of Iran’s council, Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr, Tehran said on Sunday.
