NEW YORK (EJP)—The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) will soon release the findings of its first-ever global survey of anti-Semitic attitudes in 100 countries.
The ADL Global 100, a survey of adults in 100 countries fielded from July 2013 to February 2014, is the largest survey ever of anti-Semitic attitudes and one of the largest global polls on a single subject.
It will be presented at a press conference in New York on May 13th.
Working with the polling firms First International Resources and Anzalone Liszt Grove Research, ADL conducted a total of 53,100 interviews in 96 languages and dialects. In its totality, the poll accounts for roughly 88 percent of the world’s adult population and encompasses countries both large and small in The Americas, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, the Middle East & North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia and Oceania.
The ADL Global 100 builds on ADL’s past polling efforts, first introduced in 1964 and conducted regularly in the U.S. and 12 European countries since 2002, using an 11-question index to establish whether an individual harbors anti-Semitic attitudes.
