NEW YORK—Rallies were held worldwide on Sunday to protest antisemitism under the banner “Hate Stops Here.”
Rallies, called by the World Zionist Organization (WZO) in the wake of recent antisemitic incidents, were held in various cities, including Jerusalem, New York and Paris.
‘’Recently we have witnessed an unbearable reality unfolding before our eyes, a reality in which Antisemitism raises its ugly head. Violence and dangerous Antisemitic attacks are happening worldwide on a daily basis,’’ said the WZO.
The organization has called on leaders from around the world ‘’to join us in taking action against this frightening phenomenon.’’ ‘’The time has come to make combatting Antisemitism a top priority and to mobilize the governments of the world to fight this malignant disease,’’ it said.
