Paris offices of French Jewish Students Union vandalized, anti-Zionist inscriptions

PARIS—The offices of France’s Union of Jewish students in Paris was vandalized on Wednesday, on the same day that thousands of people marched in the streets of the French capital to protest anti-Semitism following the horrific murder of 85-year-old Holocaust survivor Mireille Knolle because she was Jewish.

On the walls of the offices, located at the University of Paris’ Tolbiac site, there were inscriptions such as “Death to Israel,’’ Anti-Zionist’’ ‘’Palestine will win’’.

Sacha Ghozlan, president of the French Jewish Students Union (UEJF) said a complaint was lodged at police.

The National Bureau of Vigilance Against Anti-Semitism (BNCVA) condemned ‘’with utmost firmness’’ the anti-Semitic aggression.’’ Paris University president Georges Haddad tweeted his condemnation of “this odious act” and said he would seek an investigation.
