Netanyahu after Hezbollah’s attack on northern Israel: ’The man in the bunker in Beirut knows exactly why he is in a bunker’

JERUSALEM—“We acted yesterday with determination and responsibility. We maintained the security of our citizens and the peace of our soldiers,’’ said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in response to Hezbollah’s attack on northern Israel on Sunday.

Hezbollah fired 2 – 3 guided anti-tank missiles at an Israeli military base and an armoured ambulance in Northern Israel, near the Avivim moshav. No Israel Defence Forces (IDF) personnel were injured.

‘’The man in the bunker in Beirut knows exactly why he is in a bunker,’’ he added, in a reference to Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

‘’We will continue to do everything necessary in order to maintain the security of Israel – on land and sea, and in the air, and we will continue to act against the threat of precision missiles,’’ Netanyahu said.
