London Police investigate antisemitic attack against Jewish man in Stamford Hill

Victim was knocked unconscious during the “vicious” incident and taken to hospital with a broken ankle and head injuries, according to Jewish protection group Shomrim.

London Police are investigating an alleged racist attack after a 64-year-old Jewish man was assaulted in Stamford Hill, in the north of the city, Jewish News reported.

The victim, who was knocked unconscious during the “vicious” incident by a man who appeared to be wearing Islamic clothing, was taken to hospital with a broken ankle and head injuries, according to Shomrim, a Jewish neighbourhood watch working to protect the Jewish community of Stamford Hill,

Footage of the incident on social media appears to show a man in Orthodox Jewish dress being punched by another man.

London Police said that ‘’there have been no arrests” so far.

Shomrim said on Twitter: “Shocking footage of a vicious #Racist attack, the unconscious victim, was rushed to hospital with broken foot/ankle & nasty head injuries.
