Jewish couple violently aggressed and robbed at their home near Paris

According to the watchdog group, the four masked aggressors probably spotted their victims with the mezuzah affixed to the door of the home.

PARIS—A Jewish couple was violently assaulted on Monday at their home in Aubervilliers, near Paris, the National Bureau of Vigilance Against Anti-Semitism (BNCVA) reported.

According to the watchdog group, the four masked aggressors probably spotted their victims with the mezuzah affixed to the door of the apartment. A mezuzah comprises a piece of parchment contained in a decorative case and inscribed with specific Hebrew verses from the Torah.

The victims were assaulted, threatened with death and robbed. I ‘’They are very traumatized,’’ said BNCVA.

The group asked police ‘’to make every effort to find the perpetrators and make them available to the courts.’’

‘’Again the myth of the Jew and the money leads the criminals to preferably target and attack Jews.’’

BNVCA, which lists antisemitic acts, observes that for almost a year Jews have been attacked as close as possible to their homes.
