Israeli Minister of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism, Amichai Chikli, declared that Belgium and Spain “are the worst countries in Europe” regarding their attitude on Israel in the Gaza war.

Addressing in Jerusalem a group of European journalists visiting Israel, the minister mentioned in particular the anti-Israeli statements made during a press conference last November by the Spanish and Belgium Prime Ministers at the Rafah crossing “on the same day that Israeli hostages were released.” They then.blamed Israel for the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Asked by a Spanish journalist if he thinks that the Spanish government is antisemitic, Chikli, who is a member of Prime Minister Benjamin Nethanyahu’s Likud party, responded “yes”. He pointed in particular to the Spanish extreme-left Podemos party who was then a member of the governing coalition, which, he said, is part of wokism in Europe “which sees Jews and Israel as the the oppressors and the white supremacists.

The minister also landed Budapest for being “the  safest capital for Jews in Europe” “Where they can walk in the streets with a kippah without any problem. This is because contrary to some countries in western Europe Hungary didn’t went multicultural and has a strict immigration policy,” he added

According to Chikli, London is the worst capital in Europe for Jews. “Jews are hiding their Jewishness, the mezuzah, the kippah. “This is a reality in Europe where antisemitism is the worst since the thirties as a consequence of the red-green alliance with radical islam,” he said.
