JERUSALEM—‘’ Terrorism and violence are a scourge on us all,’’ says a statement issued by the European Union delegation in Israel following a terrorist attack in the community of Adam where a 31-year-old man died of his wounds and two others people were injured when a Palestinian terrorist stabbed them after entering a house.
The man who died was named as Yotam Ovadia, a father of two from Adam, a community located between Jerusalem and Ramallah. He will be laid to rest Friday in Jerusalem.
A 58-year-old man remained in hospital in stable condition after being stabbed in the upper torso, while a third man, 41-year-old Asaf Ravid sustained light wounds.
Ravid, who shot dead the 17-year-old terrorist from the nearby Palestinian village of Kobar.
‘’Appalled by the murder of a young man tonight in Adam. Our condolences to his family and friends. We wish a speedy recovery to those others also injured in this barbaric attack,’’ the EU statement said.
In July 2017, a Palestinian terrorist, also from Kobar, stabbed three members of the Salomon family to death in the nearby Jewish community of Neve Tzuf.
