Haddad is a veteran of the Israel Defense Forces Golani Brigade who was seriously wounded in the Second Lebanon War.

Israeli Arab Zionist activist Yoseph Haddad’s new Brave Israel Party received its final registration approval from Israel’s Registrar of Political Parties Unit on Monday.

Haddad “and others applied to register as a political party several weeks ago,” Dudi Avitan, Haddad’s strategic adviser, told JNS.

“About a week and a half ago, the party’s application was published for objections. The Registrar of Political Parties received no objections, and today we were informed that the party had been duly registered,” Avitan added.

Haddad, a veteran of the Israel Defense Forces Golani Brigade who was seriously wounded in the Second Lebanon War, is a prominent pro-Israel advocate and international speaker and the former CEO of Together-Vouch for Each Other, an organization dedicated to strengthening ties between Arab Israelis and broader Israeli society.

On Sunday, he announced on Facebook that he was stepping down from his CEO role “to pursue new goals.”
