French Jewish journalist is targeted with anti-Semitic insults

Anne Sinclair founded the French version of the Huffington Post.

PARIS—French renowned  Jewish journalist Anne Sinclair has been victim of anti-Semitic insults after she tweeted a link to a Vanity Fair article about the case of Tariq Ramadan, a Swiss-born scholar of Islam who was charged in Pzris with rape and kept in custody.

and based on accusations made against him four months ago by two women. He has denied the accusations as a smear.

In her tweet, Anne Sinclair, who founded the French version of Huffington Post, said the testimony of one of Ramadan alleged victims was ‘’hallucinating’’ and cholling.’’

It was enough to trigger a series of anti-Semitic and misogynistic insults against the journalist.

The attacks also referred to Sinclair’s former husband Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the previous director general of the International Monetary Fund, who was  himself accused of attempted rape in 2011.
