GERMANY

	The new President of the European Parliament opens International Holocaust Remembrance Day ceremony by stressing the German ‘specific responsibility’ 'I am a representative of the German people and the German people of today are not guilty but responsible to keep the memory and to never forget what happened,' said Martin Schulz.

German pension authorities say the ruling will slash payouts by up to 500 million euros ($660 million).

Germany will support Yad Vashem to the sum of one million euro annually, from 2012-2021.

A court ruled that reprinting the Nazi manifesto broke copyright laws.
