SOFIA (AFP-EJP)---The Israeli and Bulgarian governments will meet next week in Jerusalem, Sofia said Thursday, in a show of unity after an anti-Israeli suicide bombing that killed six people in Bulgaria on July 18.   

Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and 12 of his 16 ministers will visit Israel on Monday and Tuesday for "a joint meeting of the governments of Bulgaria and Israel in Jerusalem", his cabinet said in a statement.   

Borissov is to hold one-on-one meetings with his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu, and Israeli President Shimon Peres.   

No one has claimed responsibility for the bus bombing at Burgas airport in eastern Bulgaria, but Israel has blamed Iran and its Lebanese ally Hezbollah.   

The attack killed five Israeli tourists and their Bulgarian bus driver and wounded more than 30 other tourists.   

Bulgaria has not leveled any accusations of responsibility, but like Israel has vowed not to let the bombing damage their relations.   

 Israel's Ambassador in Sofia, Shaul Kamisa-Raz, has praised police in Bulgaria and said  he has close relations with Bulgarian Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov and Interior chief secretary Kalin Georgiev.

"The Bulgaria police are high-level. Both before and after the Burgas terrorist attack, our relations are great.”

The Israeli ambassador said there is a "very good cooperation" between the Bulgarian, Israeli, US, and European security services.
